Join us MARCH 15th for a second year celebration.
It is important for Kansas City to have an “Out” Festival in Fall 2014, so LIKEME Lighthouse has offered to host and manage the event previously called ‘Out In the Crossroads.’ As Kansas City’s physical LGBT community center, we have the staff to take the lead and begin to plan this festival and give us all enough lead-time for everyone to join in. The Festival will be moved from the Crossroads to the large lot by the Uptown Theater at 36th and Broadway and re-named ‘Out in Uptown”. It will be held on Friday night, Sept. 12, and Saturday, Sept. 13. We have also reserved the Uptown Theater for a show the evening of Sept. 13. Exhibitor information will be posted soon so we can all begin to plan.
We would like all the LGBT community to participate in planning the ‘Out in Uptown” event. Please email email@example.com if you or your organization would like to be part of this event. All individuals and all organizations are welcome to join in. “

The Women’s Division is also separated into four subdivisions based on team skill level: A-Competitive, B-Alternative, C-Rec and D-Rec.
Membership fees are $45 annually payable to HASL before taking the field for the first game. Membership is active from the time dues are paid until the following season. HASL is a slow-pitch softball league and play is governed by Amateur Softball Association (ASA) Rules. All members must be 18 years of age or older and are required to sign an injury release waiver prior to participation. The winning team from each level of the Open and Women’s Divisions automatically qualify to participate in the NAGAAA (Open Division) or ASANA (Women’s Division) World Series tournaments.
