April 12th, 2015|Comments Off on Growing Pains – Volunteers Needed

Good news! We’re growing, and we’re in need of more volunteers. Below, you’ll find a list of opportunities we have available. So if you’re interested, please send an email to volunteer@likemelighthouse.org.

Event team members
Assist in tasks as directed for implementing events big or small.

Painting Volunteers
Crew available to help paint the inside of our space.

We’re looking to add a person for our YouTube team. This person must have experience in pre and post video production. Availability is important – many events occur in the evening and/or weekends. Mac experience is a bonus.

Donations for immediate need:

Ink for HP OfficeJet Pro 8600
Paint -5 or 6 (5) Gallon buckets – calm, neutral colors to update our space
iPad 2 or newer for a visitor sign-in kiosk

Update from

NOH8 Campaign

We received word from NOH8 as follows:

“Our normal estimate is about eight weeks, but with record turn-outs, the same size staff, and so much time on the road has come a slightly inflated timeline of about 8-12 weeks.”

They have just completed their last tour stop and are working on the Topeka photos, which were taken right before the Kansas City photos at LIKEME Lighthouse. So the KC photos are next in the pipeline.

If you have any questions about the final photos or how they’re posted and received, all the answers are on the NOH8 FAQ page (link below).

We’re looking forward to seeing everyone’s photos on their Facebook pages!
